Spuren: Linie und Fläche - Winterausstellung im VBK

In the organizer's words:

Art leaves traces - fine lines, wide surfaces, visible and invisible impressions. It accompanies small and large ruptures, from personal experiences to social and political upheavals. In this field of tension, lines become signs, surfaces become resonating spaces. The works show how art takes what has been experienced, transforms it and makes it possible to experience it anew - as memory, as contradiction, as the possibility of new perspectives.

The exhibition brings together artistic positions that deal with the topic in a variety of ways. The participating artists will each present one work - either a current work created especially for the exhibition or a work from their previous oeuvre that relates to the theme in terms of content.
