Polina and her friend actually just wanted to go on a trip. A first vacation together, a few days away from everyday life. But while they are away, the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine begins. Suddenly nothing is certain: can they go back? Is their home still a safe place? What does the future mean when the world changes overnight?

The journey turns into a decision. And the decision becomes a new beginning. Polina and her partner arrive in Berlin - a city that holds a promise for many: freedom, protection and the opportunity to start a new life.
