When Miriam came to Berlin, she had little luggage and hardly any orientation. She had fled from a violent partner and arrived in a strange city - without a language, without a network, without a home. Ostbahnhof and the surrounding streets suddenly became the center of her life.

Exactly where today tourists take photos and people from all over the world flock to Berghain to party, she began her everyday life on the streets. Places that symbolize Berlin's exciting nightlife for many were sleeping places, meeting points and survival spaces for Miriam.
