With texts by Heine, Tennyson, Droste-Hülshoff, Ringelnatz and many others, Stimmfisch sails singing and reciting through storms, over calm waters, to distant shores. The music opens up spaces in which words resonate, memories anchor and dreams take flight.
The result is an evening in which music and literature merge into a poetic sound adventure - surprising, touching, idiosyncratic.
If you are curious and love a cappella music beyond the mainstream (or would like to get to know it), this is the right place for you. Instead of beatboxing, the voices themselves provide the rhythm, accompanied by a cajon - and sometimes even a ukulele, which is allowed on board.
