Emma Rose has always sung, but she didn't think about a career as a musician for a long time - until a viral social media hit changed everything the fall before last. From small clips with piano, humor and a feminist view of the world, she created her own songs between dreamy bedroom pop and indie vibes: funny, honest and extremely approachable.

Live, the 23-year-old from Bochum has long since proven that she is more than just a viral moment. Over 40 shows since the beginning of the year until April - on average a gig every three days. Including as support for Ivo Martin, appearances with Lina Maly, Zartmann and Zimmer90 as well as highlights such as the Fritz Session and the c/o pop Festival, demonstrate her energy and stage presence. The festival summer is also full to bursting: Over 30 confirmed dates promise full stages and an audience that Emma Rose has long since found.

Her EP "Süß sauer" shows the complexity of her artistic personality. The six songs deal with social expectations of women, question beauty norms and play ironically with self-image and role models. At the same time, they reflect personal experiences such as fear of rejection, self-doubt, loneliness and inner conflicts. "Süß sauer" describes the tension between always showing the lovable, "sweet" side, while anger and frustration actually resonate - feelings that women are often not allowed to show openly without being perceived as too emotional or "annoying".

The EP balances introspective moments with direct expressiveness and self-confident attitude. Emma Rose transforms complex themes such as emotional self-determination, feminist perspectives and personal insecurities into a musical language that is approachable, funny and profound at the same time. The result is a multi-faceted sound that touches, makes you smile and makes you think. "Süß sauer" will be released on November 07, 2025
