Sub_Bar presents a new way of experiencing music: the music is not experienced through melody or lyrics, but through air pressure and low frequencies flowing through the body. What began as a physical ritual in Berlin and Lisbon has developed into an immersive show that has been performed in 25 cities worldwide.

The Sub_Bar Show #2 now expands on this journey and comes to Duisburg on 19.04.2026 at the Stapeltor. Curated and designed around the works of Grischa Lichtenberger @grischalichtenberger and Portuguese deaf artist Iruenia @irueniasoraya, this 90-minute ritual combines sign language, subtitles, low-frequency compositions and immersive sound visualizations into a shared physical experience for deaf and hearing audiences.
