SUMMER JAZZ CRUISE FEAT. SAN GLASER "BEST OF 20 YEARS"

Join us on a musical journey in the heart of Hamburg, presented by Birdland, the legendary jazz and live music club. This special event takes place on board the Elbreederei Rainer Abicht and combines the best of the world of jazz with the charm of the Port of Hamburg.

During the 2.5-hour harbor cruise, you will be accompanied musically by the wonderful San Glaser & Band.

San is celebrating her 20th anniversary as a solo artist. A special kind of anniversary year: in spring 2025, San recorded her new, sixth album, this time not in the studio, but live with an audience, at the Birdland jazz club in her adopted home of Hamburg.

San's personal "Best of 20 years", her songs from the 5 albums in new, exciting arrangements, with a great band consisting of Mischa Schumann (NDR Bigband, Kaiser Quartett, Schumanize, Benny Brown) on piano, Felix Dehmel (Rocket Men, Marcus Deml, Krissy Matthews) on drums, Arnd Geise (Barry Finnerty, Randy Brecker, Jeff Cascaro, Colin Towns, Sarah Connor) on bass and San Glaser herself on microphone and keys. Jan-Peter Klöpfel is also on trumpet and accordion.

On stage, the singer and composer and her musicians combine charm and nonchalance, bubbling energy and exploration, melancholy and longing - in short: musical magic and pure authenticity!
