JON KENZIE

The British guitarist, composer and singer learned his trade as a street musician and came to Hamburg ten years ago, where he now lives temporarily. Since then, he has built up a loyal fan base in Germany. Jon has recorded three solo albums over the years and now presents his fourth work, "Silent Applause", which he himself says is his most personal production to date. Jon Kenzie cites blues legends such as BB King and Muddy Waters, soul singers such as Al Green and Otis Redding and folk troubadours such as Bob Dylan and Richie Havens as influences, as well as younger musicians such as the Alabama Shakes and The Teskey Brothers.
