On April 18, doors will open to otherwise hidden, secret places in the opera house. Grab a ticket for our coveted behind-the-scenes tours or enjoy one of our technical shows: the stage will be in the spotlight and show what it's made of.

Dance with the Leipzig Ballet or sing with our choirs. Look forward to musical tastings, speed dating with artistic teams and many surprising insights into everyday opera life. For our guests young and old, there will be face painting for children, a photo wall with costumes to dress up in and instrument lessons with the Musikalische Komödie orchestra.

On this day, our foyers show what otherwise takes place behind the scenes - whether costumes, make-up or carpentry: here you can see how much craftsmanship and passion goes into every production.
