Max Liebermann between Strategy and Cultural Politics" at the Liebermann-Villa am Wannsee takes a new look at Max Liebermann: it sheds light on how he developed from a pioneer of modernism to a strategic cultural politician. The exhibition is dedicated to a hitherto lesser-known aspect of his work: his rise to become a central leading figure in the art world of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
