Faitiche returns to silent green to present two album premieres:
Andrew Pekler presents his album New Environments & Rhythm Studies, released in June 2025, in an audio/video show - and Roméo Poirier also presents Off The Record, which will be released in October, for the first time in Berlin.

French collagist Roméo Poirier works in the field of electronic music and plunderphonics, with a focus on heavily processed music and film samples.

Poirier's new album Off The Record, which will be released on October 10, 2025 by Faitiche, is an amusing foray into the forgotten history of recording studios. It contains miniatures based on random recordings from the studio - we hear instructions from studio staff, snippets of conversation between musicians or simply the adjustment of microphones - as well as wrong notes, false starts and much more. In Berlin, he will perform Off The Record live for the first time.

Andrew Pekler works with sampling and synthesis to create sonically multi-layered and sensually immersive compositions. He has also realized a number of video and installation works - always in conjunction with sound. Together with cultural anthropologist Kiwi Stefanie Menrath, he developed PhantomIslands - A Sonic Atlas, an interactive online map that documents the sounds and stories of islands that were once recorded on nautical charts but have since disappeared.

New Environments & Rhythm Studies takes Andrew Pekler back to the warm and humid zones he has explored on previous albums such as Sounds From Phantom Islands and Tristes Tropiques. Divided into longer, immersive compositions and shorter, sketchy pieces, the 12 tracks bring together new constellations from Pekler's familiar sonic repertoire: synthetic field recordings, warm, vibrating electronic textures, shifting percussion patterns and gentle melodies.
