With his distinctive thumb attack, Waldi Weiz has developed his very own style: direct, groovy and unmistakable. Nothing stands between him and his "sweetheart", the guitar. When he touches the strings, he touches his audience at the same time.

His music moves effortlessly between funk and blues, country and jazz. But for all his stylistic richness, he always follows a clear motto: "The groove comes before the notes." He also chooses his musical companions according to this principle - and with his band, he has exactly the right partners at his side.

On April 21, 2026, Waldi Weiz will be performing with friends and long-time musical companions in the Maschinenhaus at the Kulturbrauerei and presenting a special concert program: "The Best of Waldi Weiz " - a musical journey through his most beautiful pieces, groovy moments and passionate blues.
