The Division Men

The acoustic duo from the USA was originally founded in Berlin in 2008. The musicians are now based in El Paso, Texas. The band consists of its founder Jesus Spencer Portillo (vocals/acoustic guitar) and his wife Caroline Rippy-Portillo (vocals/bass guitar). The name "The Division Men" was born from the idea that artists from all over the world could work together regardless of their location. The band has a distinctive sound that has been described as dark, romantic, ethereal and haunting. Their fourth studio album was released on Motor Music in 2025. A three-month European tour is planned for October to December 2025.
