The documentary tells the story of one of the most ambitious climate projects of our time: a green belt across the Sahel region that aims to halt desertification, secure livelihoods and create new prospects. The film combines impressive images with personal stories of people who are already feeling the consequences of the climate crisis - from droughts and crop failures to displacement and social instability.

The film makes it clear that climate protection is always also about protecting people. Reforestation, sustainable agriculture and international cooperation are concrete answers to global injustice. At the same time, it shows that effective solutions can only be found together - both locally and globally. Following the film, there will be an opportunity for an open discussion. After all, we are also faced with increasingly urgent questions: How do we deal with heat, drought and the protection of green spaces? How do we combine climate protection with social responsibility?
