The cheerful student Lena (Luna Wedler) firmly believes in happiness and the good in people. As part of a social project, she is sent by the office as a writing coach to Hugo Drowak (Karl Markovics), who has long since lost his luck and lives alone in a run-down tower block.

Despite his notorious meanness, Lena doesn't give up trying to get him interested in the creative process. She is convinced that everyone deserves a second chance. Reluctantly, Drowak begins to write about the love of his life, awakening the demons of his past. When Lena realizes the connection, she resolutely confronts them.

With its surreal mix of genres and powerful imagery, the film discovers the human in a Kafkaesque bureaucratic apparatus.
