The Pretty Heartbreakers | A Tribute to Tom Petty

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers have written music history. The singer's death in 2017 was a shock not only for his fans around the world: never again will he perform hits such as "Free Fallin'", "Learning to Fly" or "Into the Great Wide Open" live on stage? The answer is provided by a tribute band from Germany, which has gained a steadily growing fan base in a very short space of time: The Pretty Heartbreakers. What was initially born out of a beer mood is now a "must have" for all lovers of timeless rock and pop songs. The press reviews are correspondingly positive. The magazine "Nordevents" recently praised The Pretty Heartbreakers as "Germany's most convincing Tom Petty tribute band". The performance in the legendary Hamburg club "Logo" was therefore "proof of how alive Tom Petty's work still sounds today when it is brought to the stage with so much respect and skill".

With his unique mix of rock, pop, country and folk, Tom Petty had worked his way up to the Olympus of the most famous musicians from the mid-70s. He was celebrated in Europe and revered as an absolute superstar in the USA. Many of his songs are still part of the standard repertoire on radio stations today.

Justus Kopanski (Vocals, Guitar, Blues Harp), Thomas Wirtz (Lead Guitar), Akki Katerbau (Rhythm Guitar), Michael Neumahr (Bass), Jeremy Pütz (Drums) and Jan Wördenweber (Keyboards) are now continuing his musical legacy with a rousing live performance.

The Pretty Heartbreakers ensure that Tom Petty's hits remain immortal live. "Mary Jane's last dance" has not yet been danced.
