WAIT FOR JUNE

More versatile and detailed than ever, the band WAIT FOR JUNE treads the paths of folk, indie, rock, piano pop, a little funk and down-to-earth singer/songwriter music, without abandoning any of them. The combination of voices and the alternation of the many instruments bring a tremendous amount of tension to the stage. In terms of content, the band are not afraid to ask uncomfortable questions. At the same time, the fast-paced songs with their happy sounds also encourage people to go outside again and get in touch with the world.

The band from Wetzlar in Hesse formed in 2013 and released two EPs and a longplayer on their own in the following years. With well over 150 concerts throughout Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Great Britain, the four musicians have made a name for themselves with their winning enthusiasm. Their trademark: Sophisticated songwriting supported by a large repertoire of musical instruments, which the band uses in turn. And so it's no wonder that the unusual mix contains pretty much everything that makes music lovers' hearts happy.

While Manuel Sohn lends a mixture of melancholy and hope to one number with his warm and earthy voice, Jule Jochem takes over on the next with her soft and sweet, yet powerful voice. WAIT FOR JUNE tirelessly strive for their musical development. October 2022 saw the release of the
album HELLO HELLO, which was created for the first time in collaboration with producer Mark Ziemann. The successful cooperation is reflected in the versatile and detailed arrangements and shaped the strengths of the four band members into another sophisticated and harmonious listening experience.
