Variations for Two Couples convinces with neoclassical austerity, erotic elegance and subtle humor. In The Thing with Feathers , Demis Volpi sparks a touching interplay of sadness, joy and pleasure to Richard Strauss' Metamorphosen, which illuminates the momentary nature of dance full of optimism.
