With numerous national and international awards, The Washboard Union are one of Canada's most successful country bands. Over 85 million streams, a high radio presence and a steadily growing fan base underline their importance within the modern country scene. In November, the band will be coming to Germany for two concerts, bringing their live sound to German stages.

The Washboard Union stand for contemporary country with distinctive three-part harmonies and a strong melodic focus. Their songs combine classic country influences with modern production and address universal themes such as closeness, cohesion and personal longing. The result is a clear sound aesthetic that combines emotionality and precision craftsmanship.

Founded in Vancouver, Canada, the band consists of stepbrothers Aaron Grain and Chris Duncombe and their longtime friend David John Roberts. With their harmony-based vocals and authentic songwriting, they made a name for themselves early on and developed a clear artistic identity that unmistakably characterizes their music.

Discographically, the band can look back on numerous successes. Highlights include two top 5 hits and nine top 10 hits in the Canadian country charts, including the platinum hit "Shot of Glory" and "Country Thunder". At the CCMA Awards 2020, the band was honored as Group of the Year, the album "Everbound" received the title Roots Album of the Year. The album "Westerly", from which two songs can be heard in the US series "Tracker", recently attracted international attention. "Somebody to Love" was the first new single to be released in over a year, ushering in a new chapter. Another studio album is planned for summer 2026.

The Washboard Union have also established themselves as a force to be reckoned with live. Tours with artists such as Old Dominion, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Luke Combs, Zac Brown Band and HARDY as well as appearances on festival stages in North America, Europe and Australia underline their status.
