A post-colonial tragedy about the true meaning of words and an ode to good old-fashioned Jew-hatred. Inspired by Molière's Tartuffe.

The "post-colonial" tragicomedy "There is Only One Solution - Call the Polizei!" returns to the stage on October 24 and 25 as part of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation's Action and Education Weeks against Anti-Semitism and on November 15 and 16. This time, the satirical theater evening can be seen at the Brotfabrik in Weißensee. Unfortunately, it becomes more and more biting and topical as time goes on, because it is about good old-fashioned hatred of Jews, which, disguised as criticism of Israel, is attracting more and more people to the supposed "right side of history". In just under an hour and a half, the performers from the "Amt für Darstellende Künste" collective, based on Molière's Tartuffe, present the fast-paced story of a Berlin shared flat that becomes a veritable battlefield due to a new flatmate.

Student Jasmina wants to do everything right in life. She has a lot of privileges and a condominium in Charlottenburg, which she shares with her best buddy Manu. Recently, she has spontaneously taken in activist Jonathan to finally do her bit for the just cause of the Palestinians. When it emerges that Jasmina's domestic help Natalya has relatives in Israel, the war finally arrives in her living room. Manu has terrible suspicions, but is unable to shake Jasmina's faith in Jonathan. But Jonathan himself is also behaving increasingly strangely. Strange things turn up in the apartment and another mysterious flatmate moves in without being asked. But now Jasmina really has to ask herself the question: what does "intifada" actually mean?
