Do you like being out and about with your sketchbook? But don't want to lug around unnecessary equipment? This workshop with illustrator Tilo Schneider is all about the right pens for your backpack: watercolor markers, water-soluble pencils and other clever tools for drawing outdoors. We'll try out how to use them in quick sketches and watercolor drawings in the Globetrotter store and on a short discovery tour in the surrounding area.

Tilo shares tips and tricks for drawing places, landscapes, seasons, architecture, people and animals. You can boldly pick up a pencil, no previous knowledge is necessary. Pack your drawing utensils and have fun getting to know the themes, techniques and materials of outdoor drawing.

Please bring your own: Pencils, colored pencils, fineliner, sketchbook (watercolor paper) or watercolor pad, watercolor paints, brushes; watercolor pencils and watercolor markers (e.g. Albrecht Dürer markers from FaberCastell) or borrow them from Tilo at the workshop.

Course instructor Tilo is a passionate draughtsman, lecturer and online trainer. In artistic sketching courses as well as workshops for companies, he encourages people to pick up a pencil and create their own personal drawing experience. He is co-founder of an academy for illustration and passes on his experience to up-and-coming creatives in coaching sessions for artistic university applications. Tilo lives and works as an illustrator and designer in Bernau am Chiemsee.
