In the fourth encounter of the trans-traditional music laboratory, the Trickster Orchestra and its guests explore the diverse manifestations of microtonality. As a musical phenomenon found in almost all musical traditions, it is sometimes understood and used in very different ways. In the workshop concert, the potential and possibilities of microtonal approaches for current, trans-traditional music practices will be presented and discussed.
