TU SENS LA TERRE BOUGER? Cirque Barbette | CircusDanceFestival 2026

In the organizer's words:

"Tu sens la terre bouger ?" erects a balancing sculpture before our eyes, which gradually becomes a complex human mobile. At the center: the seesaw. A dance of small balancing movements becomes the starting point of this show. But the performers want more. They need the audience's counterweight for their increasingly complex Mikado game.

Between floating beams, two musicians and four circus artists from Cirque Barbette take us on a journey through intimate moments, paradoxical movement patterns and a finely calibrated game of balance.

The Belgian company creates a contemporary homage to Alexander Calder's mobiles for participation. It is only through us that this piece remains balanced, and collective trust becomes a safety net.
