Going to a concert can be a pretty strange thing: You euphorically buy a ticket months in advance, make an appointment with friends and keep a date free, and then on that very day you just feel like shit and in the evening you don't want to go out but prefer to crawl under the covers. Or you didn't even notice that your favorite band is playing tonight and you're standing nervously outside the club in the cold, hoping to get in somehow. But whatever the burden on your shoulders, when you walk into a TYNA show, you become part of a community in which everyone helps out a little for an evening: No matter how you're doing, this is how we're doing together!
Because TYNA is all about community and diversity. Out of the drawers together. It's no coincidence that the four Hamburgers-by-choice made their new album with the help of their loyal and ever-growing fanbase. And musically, they don't give a damn about self-limitation: on their 2024 debut PNK, they showed that although they feel at home in indie punk, they are not afraid of the occasional genre crossover in one direction or another. And on their new album ALLEN GEHT ES, which will be released in 2026, they make it clear once and for all that they don't care about boundaries. The band remains true to their core ingredients; high-energy, head-through-the-wall songs with scratchy guitars and sizzling synths. Lyrics full of empowerment and self-doubt, anger and sadness, joy and heartache. And then they go on a musical class trip to the electro club. Or they bring a tongue-in-cheek reminiscence of 90s industrial, only to jump into the lowrider and mark out the rap-rock territory. In any case, TYNA waste no time discussing musical do's and don'ts. They simply have too much to say! And a lot has to be said these days, in this political world situation where it sometimes seems as if nothing unites us more than fear of the future. But then again, TYNA don't believe that, and plead for a healthy round of sweating it out despite all the doom-scroll over-intoxication. And where better to do that than at a show by the masters of ceremony themselves?
In spring 2026, the band will embark on the "ALLEN GEHT ES" tour, inviting you to a well-groomed infusion in the clubs. Promised without towel waving and shirts stay on, of course! Instead: raving, crying, laughing, singing, screaming, dancing, banging, sweating. And then, after the show, to answer the dreaded small-talk question "So, how are you?" a little more honestly with "Good!" with "Good!".
