Four Stances in Sound
Works by Sam Hayden UA, Sarah Nemtsov, Anda Kryeziu UA and Marta Domingues
Nada Contra presents four different sound positions that have emerged from a close collaboration with the composers.
These works provoke new relationships between performer and instrument by focusing on the body as a place of perception, determination, work and expression. The concert explores the human dimension of sound - its production and expression - as inseparable from the body, with the piano completely replaced by a MIDI-controlled keyboard.
