In the garden of female composers

Works by Annette Schlünz, KarmellaTsepkolenko, Olga Rayeva, Mayako Kubo, Ellen Hünigen, Clara Maïda, Violeta Dinescu, Natalia Pschenitschnikova, Susanne Stelzenbach, Lucie Vítková and Katia Guedes

Gardens and flowers are an endless source of inspiration for literature, music and the visual arts. For a concert performance in this garden, commissions for short songs for female voices were awarded to contemporary female composers. They come from Romania, Spain, Brazil, Japan, France, Russia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Germany.

The premiere of these compositions took place as part of a project by Gisela Weimann in the middle of an installation of an imaginary garden.
