(DE) Bianca Dakli was born in Rome and has lived in various European cities over the years. In 2011 she completed her bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and theater in London. Since 2013 Bianca lives in Berlin and works as a freelance artist in the field of dance and performance. For the past few years she has focused mainly on acrylic painting and has participated in several group exhibitions and art markets.

This collection is inspired by Bianca's personal journey as a dancer in the intense world of ballet and contemporary dance. It reflects the balance between strength and vulnerability and explores the physical and emotional challenges this discipline can place on the body and mind. In these pieces, Bianca taps into the profound experiences and emotions that have shaped her years of dedication to dance. The works explore moments of transformation, the excitement and fear of taking bold steps such as moving abroad, the unexpected twists and turns that life offers and the profound changes that come with motherhood, pregnancy, childbirth and the continual evolution of self.

(EN) Bianca Dakli was born in Rome and moved over the years to different cities around Europe. She completed her bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and theater in London in 2011.Bianca has been living in Berlin since 2013 and worked as a freelance artist in the field of dance and performance. Since a few years she mostly focused on painting with acrylics and has participated in several group exhibitions and art markets.
