UNVEIL Fotografie-Ausstellung

In the organizer's words:

Hidden attributions. Visible and invisible scars. Individual and social insecurities.

In the Design Project course, Master's students at Media University Berlin worked with Nora Bibel to explore stigma as a social and visual phenomenon. The result is photographic explorations dedicated to the complexity of identity, demarcation and visibility. The supplementary individual text forms expand the visual narratives and lend the specific images greater meaning.

Isn't the word stigma itself a stigma?

The works question attributions, reveal specifics, celebrate peculiarities - and invite us to question certainties.

Visitors have the opportunity to talk to some of the artists during our Art Talks on Sundays at 3 pm.
