Vernissage: I AM FLUX: The Freedom of Being and the Possibilities of Becoming

Die Ausstellung präsentiert die künstlerischen Arbeitsergebnisse unserer 11 Stipendiaten des zehnten Fresh A.I.R.-Jahrgangs und des ersten Stipendiaten des Martha-Cooper-Stipendiums. Seit Januar 2025 beschäftigen sie sich mit dem Thema „I AM FLUX: The Freedom of Being and the Possibilities of Becoming“. Die teilnehmenden Künstler*innen untersuchen die transformative Natur von Identität und Existenz – von der Vielfalt der Geschlechter und Selbstwahrnehmung bis hin zu metaphysischen Reflexionen und der Neudefinition menschlicher Grenzen durch Kunst und Technologie. Mit ihren Werken hinterfragen sie, was es bedeutet, in einer sich ständig verändernden Welt zu existieren, sich zu wandeln und sich weiterzuentwickeln.

The exhibition presents the artistic work results of our 11 scholarship holders of the tenth Fresh A.I.R. class and the first fellow of the Martha Cooper Scholarship. Since January 2025, they have been exploring the theme “I AM FLUX: The Freedom of Being and the Possibilities of Becoming.” The participating artists exa-mine the transformative nature of identity and existence — from the diversity of gen-der and self-perception to metaphysical reflections and the redefinition of human boundaries through art and technology. Through their works, they question what it means to be, to transform and evolve in a constantly changing world.
