An exhibition of original illustrations that presents the world of the two illustrators.
On display during the library's opening hours:
Tuesday to Friday from 13:00 to 18:30 and Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00.
Vernissage on Friday, 12.09.2025 at 18:00.
Ophélie Paris
After living in Paris and Budapest for a while, Ophelia Paris left her suitcases in Berlin. As an illustrator, she works for the press while developing various narrative projects - poetry, comics, picture books. She loves to create vibrant, textured and sprawling images. Currently her favorite mediums are colored pencils and pastels, but who knows, maybe that will change. Her first book as an author and illustrator will be published in 2027.

Marie Horrie
Based in Berlin with a brush and pencil, Marie Horrie loves to draw scenes from her childhood and her sketchbook is where her visual ideas are born. She creates illustrations that take their time, time to dream and to linger. For the exhibition L'Été reviendra, she presents her Horrie-gami books, books that can be folded and unfolded, and in which a story unfolds in two or three colors.
