The Volksshow offers a contrasting program to the merry month of May: Presenter Moritz Hürtgen promises jokes for this edition of the Volksshow that would get you thrown out of the studio on TV - and the guests' program is anything but sweet: Fabian Grischkat reports entertainingly on the misery of the current news situation and Lena Kupke delivers punchlines that will leave you in stitches.

Guests

Lena Kupke (*1986) spontaneously stood in for an unavailable artist at an open mic show in 2016 and completed her improvised performance. In 2021, her stand-up comedy special appeared on ZDF as well as her non-fiction book "Wahrheit oder Pflicht". She can often be seen on Till Reiners' "Happy Hour" on 3Sat and on "Falsch, aber anders lustig" in the ARD Mediathek. Her debut novel "Pause" will be published in 2026

Fabian Grischkat is a journalist and newsfluencer from Berlin. The 25-year-old mainly reports on relevant topics from politics and general world events on social networks. Vogue named him as one of eight people "who are changing our society". His book "Keine Zukunft ist auch keine Lösung" (Piper) was published in 2025.

Presenter

Moritz Hürtgen, *1989 in Munich, works as a columnist for the satirical magazine Titanic and Apotheken Umschau. He stubbornly refuses to have a regular job. He is presenting the third season of the popular show this season.
