On this special evening at the Liebermann-Villa on Wannsee, we will focus on the moving history of the Berlin rowing club "Welle-Poseidon". A club that has welcomed "every blameless person regardless of politics or denomination" since its foundation - and whose non-Jewish members made a memorable decision in 1933 that is unique in retrospect.

It tells an encouraging story of courage and lifelong solidarity, of people in hiding, renamed boats and the longing of former Berliners for their city. The evening is accompanied by songs about sailors, the sea and ships, about Wannsee and Berlin.
