Wie Findus zu Pettersson kam

In the puppet show "How Findus came to Pettersson" you can experience Findus as a baby cat. He's never been so cute!

Pettersson is an old, friendly man. He lives on a small farm in the middle of the Swiss countryside. The farm is also home to a flock of chickens, who are good company. But unfortunately they are always far too excited to talk to Pettersson. There are a few farms in the neighborhood. Sometimes neighbors come to visit for coffee or to borrow something from Pettersson. In the carpenter's shed and in the attic there are lots of things that the old man has collected over the years. Pettersson is a real inventor and do-it-yourselfer. He can cook, sew, bat, fish, bake, tell stories, solve crossword puzzles and, above all, invent new things.

But he is so often alone that he sometimes wants to pull the covers over his head and disappear. One morning, his neighbor brings him a cardboard box with the inscription "Findus green peas" as a present. However, there are no peas inside, but a cute little baby cat. Pettersson takes loving care of kitten Findus and even reads him stories every evening. One day, while reading the newspaper, it happens! Findus speaks his first words: "I'd like to have a pair of pants like that!" Well, that could be something!
