Wir existieren und wir bleiben. Queere Sichtbarkeiten in der Fotografie

In the organizer's words:

"We exist and we remain" is both a photography exhibition and a protest that focuses on queer experiences - from intimate portraits and everyday observations to activist imagery. On display are the award-winning works of the GAZE queer photo award, which invites queer people to make their personal perspectives on queer life visible and to confidently take up space. Photography becomes an instrument of self-empowerment. The focus is not only on the finished image, but also on the question of what queer visibility means. Who looks at us and how? And what does it mean when we show ourselves as we see ourselves, when we bring our images together and recognize each other? When we encourage each other to bring our voices together and say together: We exist and we remain!
