If you see something that is not okay - do you dare to say something?

Kemi thinks hiking is stupid, insects are disgusting and trees are only great as cupboards. Nevertheless, his mother sends him to a vacation camp in the forest. Almost everyone in his class goes, including Marko and his buddies of all people. They make others they don't like "different", i.e. outsiders. Just because they feel like it. Just like Jörg. And Kemi is glad that it's Jörg and not him. But the fact that he now has to share the hut with Jörg makes it somehow complicated ...

Right on the first outing, Marko sets his sights on Jörg and everyone stands by, including Kemi. Even the supervisors don't want to notice and prefer to do yoga in the sunset. And suddenly, a wolf with yellow eyes creeps around the hut at night and looks Kemi in the face. He realizes that he has to make a decision: will he continue to watch in silence or will he stand up for Jörg and risk becoming a target himself?



Saša Stanišić's novel, which won the 2024 Youth Literature Prize, tells of bullying and fear, friendship and moral courage. Raphael Moussa Hillebrand stages "Wolf" with a large ensemble and dance elements.
