Workshop: Blühinsel anlegen & pflegen

On June 18 at 5 p.m., Ökolöwe e.V. invites you to a "Leipzig blossoms" flowering island workshop. The event is aimed at all Leipzig residents who want to create insect-friendly flowering areas professionally and maintain them in the long term.

The workshop will explain the differences between flowering meadows and flowering islands, which soil preparations are useful, what to look out for when selecting seeds and how sowing and maintenance can be successfully implemented. Suitable tools and practical work steps are also presented.

The aim is for participants to be able to create a species-rich, robust and permanently attractive flowering area after the event, which will provide a valuable habitat for insects for many years and at the same time be pleasing to the eye.
