Workshop: So hilfst Du Amsel, Meise, Rotkehlchen & Co.

In the organizer's words:

Would you like to invite blackbirds, blue tits, swifts, robins and wrens into your garden or backyard? In the Ökolöwe e.V. workshop, you will learn about the food preferences, habitat requirements and particularly endearing or surprising characteristics of the various garden bird species. You will learn how to create a bird-friendly garden or yard using simple means.

An important topic of the workshop will be man-made sources of danger for birds. Many bird deaths could easily be prevented.

The question of year-round supplementary feeding will also be discussed on the basis of the latest findings. And: there will be tips on how species-appropriate, hygienic supplementary feeding can look.
