The story of the Americana in Leipzig is quickly told. First there was nothing for a long time, and then finally the Zoomies.

Whereby the Zoomies, the heart project of musician Maxim Tschernych on the debut tape "Carbonated Soft Drinks" from 2023, still sounded like a bag of new wave mixes between JackJ., Bowie or Ween.

But now finally the logical, slightly noisy turn to Americana, more precisely to the rock-pop part, where country or folk are not dirty words, where Harry Nilsson once wrote his songs, where Alex G lives today and from where MJ Lendermann can also sing a song.this is also where the Zoomies hang out.where the Zoomies live as a 5-piece band but also as a solo show. Depending on the occasion. In reality, the Zoomies are the protagonists in Maxim Tschernych's songs.

The album is planned for May 2026 on Berlin's staatsakt. The anticipation couldn't be greater.
