Zu Besuch bei Lerchen und Schmätzern - Vogelkundliche Exkursion in die Heide

In the organizer's words:

In spring, they chirp audibly from afar - but it takes perseverance and experience to see the feathered inhabitants of the heath. Led by bird expert Manfred Siering - chairman of the Bavarian Ornithological Society - we listen to the songs and observe with binoculars. You can expect to see wheatears, whinchats, tree pipits and many others: They are all back at the beginning of May and start their polyphonic concert in the early morning. The event takes place whatever the weather.
