The heathland in the north of Munich is characterized by an extraordinarily rich flora. The plants found here are adapted to "difficult" site conditions, including a poor supply of water and nutrients. This also makes them suitable for special areas in the school environment. They require little maintenance and help to promote biodiversity. Near-natural flower meadows in turn provide food and shelter for numerous insects. As part of the training course, you will learn which native wild plants thrive well in poor habitats and how these can be used practically and realistically for educational work with children. You will also learn methods for creating and maintaining species-rich flowering areas with simple means.
