The Akademie der Künste Berlin, an international artists' association founded in 1696, stands at the center of German cultural life as an exhibition and event venue and with its important archive. It is a forum for the encounter of artists, for public debates and an internationally valued place for research. In two buildings in the center of Berlin, on Pariser Platz and in the Hansaviertel, the Academy presents top-class events from all areas of art. Opening hours Mon to Sun from 10am-8pm (as well as until the end of events) Exhibitions in the halls Tues to Sun from 11am-1pm Exhibitions on the bridge and in the passage daily from 10am-8pm The passage to Behrenstraße is open daily from 10am-8pm. Tuesdays 15-19 free admission to the exhibitions.
