The Alexander and Renata Camaro Foundation primarily cultivates the work of Alexander and Renata Camaro and makes it accessible to the public. It promotes interdisciplinary thinking in the form of its own projects as well as the examination of selected contemporary artistic positions. The Camaro Foundation awards targeted scholarships to explore the artistic oeuvre as a whole and, together with its cooperation partners, regularly announces artist-in-residence programs.
Painting and dance in particular, but also literature, music, film and circus are the main artistic genres that relate to Alexander Camaro's multifaceted oeuvre.

With its location on the lively Potsdamer Straße in the Tiergarten district, the Camaro Haus is situated on a central "cultural mile" in the heart of Berlin - the Kulturforum with the Philharmonie, the State Library, the New National Gallery and the Picture Gallery of the National Museums in Berlin are just a few minutes' walk away. The historic brick building in the second courtyard with its idyllic park welcomes you as an oasis and a special place for encounters with the interdisciplinary arts.
