Makerspace Leipzig

In the location's words:

We are a community workshop in the north of Leipzig.

Our focus is on the idea of self-management . We are not an ordinary workshop, but a lively community in which every member plays an active role. There is no distinction between operators and users; instead, we share responsibility for ensuring that our workshop and community function optimally.

Each member contributes their individual skills and interests, be it manual dexterity, artistic talent or organizational skills. The shared responsibility of each individual creates an inspiring environment in which we learn from and support each other.

Community and cohesion are important to us. We come together monthly at the organizational meeting to exchange ideas, make decisions and work on joint projects. In our participatory workshop, there is room for discussion, creativity and the development of new friendships.
