9. Internationales Bonner Tanzsolofestival

In April, the Bonn International Dance Solo Festival returns to the stages of Theater im Ballsaal, Tanzgenerator Bonn and Bundeskunsthalle! Radical introspection or reference to the world, the "outside"? The program shows that both are possible: the focus on the individual and their body and the connection to events, people, stories, images and ideas.

The ninth edition of the festival brings together works that combine intimacy, aesthetic experimentation and social reflection. It ranges from international greats such as Yasmeen Godder, Lisbeth Gruwez and Thomas Hauert to exciting discoveries such as Sebastian Zuber, Pierre Piton and Thibault Lac, as well as talented young artists from the HfMT Cologne and the Folkwang University of the Arts.

For the first time, we are cooperating with the Moovy dance film festival, thus broadening our view beyond the stage. Two workshops as well as various discussion formats also offer the opportunity to get actively involved and at the end there will be a chance to dance together in a relaxed atmosphere.
