In the organizer's words:

As an androgynous faun, but also with the attitude of a harlequin or jester, Thibault Lac traverses a dreamlike, nocturnal scenery between lush garden and imponderable swamp. Navigating through the spheres of the real and the imaginary, through personal and collective memories, he unfolds a pantheon of different "spirits", old-fashioned archetypes and contemporary mythologies.
Blue Roses fascinates with its virtuoso balancing act between irritation and seduction, sentimentality and melancholy, the blurring of temporalities, styles and genres. Always taking the moment of failure into account, Thibault Lac turns the audience into accomplices, as if to say: "I'm so glad you're here! Without you, none of this would exist."
