You love photography? Then you've come to the right place! Filmriss is a photography meetup in Berlin that aims to bring the photography scene in the capitol closer together. Whether a professional or hobbyist, analog or digital. All are welcome!

This month we are hosting another Photowalk with our Host: Marvin Machler and in cooperation with analogueNOW!

The event is sponsored by Safelight Berlin. We're taking our cameras to the area around Warschauer Str. for an intresting walk! As always, we'll have a few creative challenges to keep things interesting and afterwards, we'll meet at Fotogalerie Friedrichshain to the Vernissage from the analogueNOW Festival.

Room for Doubt - Fotogalerie Friedrichshain

At the heart of the festival is the exhibition "Room for Doubt" (May 9 - June 19, 2026), featuring works by photographers and photography students from various collectives and educational institutions in Berlin. Room for Doubt celebrates the experimental spirit of analog photography-trial and error, open-endedness, and the creative potential of uncertainty. The exhibition invites visitors to question their own perceptions and to understand doubt as an essential part of artistic practice.
