ANYMOS KI:NO Sommer | Blade Runner 2049

As the opening event of this year's ANYMOS KI:NO Summer, we cordially invite you to the Kinemathek Karlsruhe on April 23 from 7 pm, where we will immerse ourselves together in the dark vision of the future of "Blade Runner 2049".

After we immersed ourselves in a world in which an ex-policeman hunts escaped replicants and increasingly doubts the boundaries between man and machine with "Blade Runner" at the last KI:NO Summer 2025, we are now picking up on this story with "Blade Runner 2049". This time, the focus is on replicant hunter K, who discovers a secret during his investigations that could shake up the existing order.

A science fiction film that once again raises questions about artificial intelligence, identity and humanity with breathtaking images, atmospheric music and a fascinating story. We will then discuss together how these questions can be applied to our society today.

Admission to the Kinemathek is free of charge and the principle of first come, first serve applies. Admission is at 18:30.

The KI:NO Sommer is organized as part of the ANYMOS project by TRIANGEL Transfer | Kultur | Raum in cooperation with the Kinemathek Karlsruhe and the AFK. ANYMOS is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and financed by the European Union, NextGenerationEU.
