Miriam Hanika is no longer a stranger to Bad Münstereifel. She already enchanted audiences in 2020 and 2022 with her angelic singing, her virtuoso mastery of the instruments and her highly engaging lyrics.

On Saturday, 28 November at 8 pm, she will be back on stage at the "Kulturhaus theater 1", Langenhecke 4 in Bad Münstereifel.

She is one of the most distinctive voices on the German music scene and her songs combine poetic language with a unique musical cosmos of sound. The oboe plays a special role here - an instrument that is unusual in this musical environment and gives her songs a color all of their own.

Her concerts are characterized by musical depth and a great closeness to the audience.

Together with percussionist Simon Popp, she is now creating an evening for the time between shadow and light at the Kulturhaus.

Her music has won several awards: in 2024 she received the Hanns Seidel Foundation's prize for young songwriters and in 2021 the City of Munich's music scholarship. With the Dandelion Quintet she won first prize at the international Ars Ventus competition for chamber music in 2019. Her second album Louise (2021) was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award.
