After more than a year of extensive renovation work, the Haus der Geschichte in Bonn is presenting its completely renewed permanent exhibition under the motto "You are part of history!" The multimedia installation invites visitors to relive the creation and development of the Federal Republic of Germany and to consider and critically question their own place in this history. During a guided tour through the exhibition with its 3,800 objects, contemporary history is vividly presented and the personal perspective on the recent past is brought into focus. The day excursion starts with a shared train journey to the Haus der Geschichte from Düsseldorf main station. The event is free of charge, tickets for the train journey must be purchased independently.
