Bossarenova Trio live im Alten Pfandhaus Köln

In the organizer's words:

Paula Morelenbaum, Joo Kraus and Ralf Schmid produced their new album in Rio de Janeiro and Berlin, on both sides of the "Oceano Atlântico". After the melancholy spheres of their first production "Samba Prelúdio", the transatlantic trio develops its groovy side on "Oceano Atlântico" and sets off for Rio ́s samba district. Driven by Joo and Ralf's electronic spacetools and a Brazilian guest percussionist, they create pulsating grooves, close to samba and brazilectro, which energize Paula's vocal lines. Compositions by Caetano Veloso, Ivan Lins, Chico Buarque and Edu Lobo are re-composed and the ensemble develops its own exclusive musical language: "playful, deep and cutting-edge, uniting Brazil, Germany and the world."
